Bradley Abraham, Jr. 82 departed this life on December 25, 2019 at 1:35p.m., Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette, LA. He was born March 15, 1937 in Breaux Bridge, LA to the late Mr. & Mrs. Bradley, Sr. and Lena Abraham.
He leaves to cherish memories, wife Valerie Jean Warren Abraham; three daughters, Alana Rochelle Abraham, Kimberly Raquel Harris of Jennings, LA and Chianti Dawn (Michael) Moncrief of W. Monroe, LA; two grandsons Chandler and Keagan Moncrief also of W. Monroe, LA; three "lil potnahs" who dearly looked up to him, Mia Palfrey, Sean Cummings, Jr. & Ayden Walker of Jennings, LA; three sisters Willie Mae Alexander of Breaux Bridge, LA; Joyce (Anthony) Alexander of Jennings, LA; Earline (Horace) Miller of Temple, TX; numerous godchildren, in-laws, an abundance of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Bradley worked for Jefferson Davis School System as a bus driver and janitor and enjoyed retirement, shooting the breeze with the entire community, caring for horses, hunting, fishing, zydecoing, cooking & eating wild game, and let's remember his ability to create unique nicknames for just about every person that crossed his path as well as reminded us that he was one of the best ole school softball players in this area.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Bradley, Sr. and Lena Abraham; three sisters Zenobia Alexander, Doris Palfrey and Elsie Soularie and one brother, Roy Abraham.
Mr. Abraham visitation will be on Friday, January 03, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in Union Baptist Church located, 1014 S. Main St., Jennings, LA, 70546. His funeral service will follow immediately after visitation. Burial will be in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery under the direction of Fondel Memorial Chapel.
