“Our precious little angel”, Jaylen “Jay-Jay” Isaiah Dorsey beloved son of Ronald and Carmen (Pappillion) Dorsey peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 16, 2018.

Although Jaylen was only here for a brief moment in time, he touched the lives of family, church family, classmates, and friends with his beautiful smile. He filled our hearts with love and happiness. He loved playing basketball and cutting grass with his dad. He was Team Dorsey Elite’s number one fan! He would always say, “Daddy, that’s your boys?” He had a love for toy motorcycles. His favorite times were spent with his cousins during their play dates at “Meme’s” house. He was his mom’s “Doodie” and at the end of the day he loved crawling in her lap to be showered with hugs, kisses, and conversation.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Ronald Dorsey and uncle Sherrill Dorsey.

In addition to his parents, he leaves to cherish his memories his big sister: Syndey; maternal grandparents: Wayne and Debbie Pappillon of Lake Charles; paternal grandmother: Sheila Dorsey of Detroit, MI; two aunts: Kerra Pappillion and Jermel Batiste of Lake Charles; two uncles: Sherron Dorsey, Sr. and LaRon Dorsey (Cherith) of Detroit, MI; cousins: Alonzo, Jav’n, and Skylar Pappillion, Terrell “TJ” and Antonio Batiste, cousins from Detroit, MI and a host of relatives and friends.
